That shapes what I actually tested here. I signed up from scratch, paid for a real plan, and then spent time inside the account panel and the site-level dashboard that comes bundled with it, checking whether someone who has never touched Hostinger before could get a Drupal site running and manage it day to day without opening a support article first.
1. Registration
The Drupal hosting page opens on one headline, a short line about building a website with Drupal-optimized hosting, and a single Start now button.
Clicking it does not open a signup form, it just scrolls the page down to the pricing plans, so the real decision-making starts there rather than at an empty account form.
Three tiers sit side by side:
I picked Premium, since one Drupal test site with room to add a second later matched what this review needed better than the single-site entry tier.

I searched for a domain, it was attached to the order at no extra line item, and I moved to checkout.
Then I moved to payment. Since I was already logged into an existing Hostinger account, the flow skipped straight to a billing address and payment step.
A new visitor would see a signup screen first instead, filling in an email and password or continuing with Google or GitHub, before landing on the same billing form.
The billing address I had on file appeared with an Edit link next to it rather than forcing a re-entry.

Further down, a Your to-dos section flagged several outstanding account items, unrelated leftovers like an unfinished Reach email marketing setup and an unclaimed free email address, with a Show more link to expand past the first few. Below that, a Your business section listed every website tied to the account, and only near the bottom of the page did a dedicated table for hosting plans and VPS instances appear, each row showing hostname, IP address, status, and expiration date at a glance without needing a click.
Under “Your business”, I found my Drupal site.
However, I could also find it by clicking Websites in the left sidebar instead, which filtered the view down to just hosting plans. That page opened on the Premium plan card, expiry date shown up top, with hostadvice.tech listed underneath it alongside a Tools dropdown and a Dashboard button.
What I thought about the dashboard. hPanel works as an account-wide hub, but it is built for Hostinger’s entire catalog, not for someone who just bought Drupal hosting, and that shows in how much cross-selling sits between login and the actual site record.
A new user needs to know to head for Websites in the sidebar rather than expect the home feed to surface a fresh purchase near the top. Once you reach the right site card, though, everything narrows down cleanly from there.
3. Hosting Management
Clicking Dashboard on the site card opened the management panel scoped to just hostadvice.tech, and this is where the actual day to day work happens.
The top of the page shows the site’s URL with a direct link out, its creation date, a Manage domain button, a Set up free email button, and three status badges, Malware protected, SSL, and CDN, all active by default with nothing to configure.

Kodee is not a scripted chatbot limited to pasting help articles back at you, Hostinger built it on the Model Context Protocol with account-level access, so it can check real settings on a live site and, on other products, carry out changes directly rather than just describing them.
A live agent sits behind it if the conversation needs to escalate. I tested both channels separately, live chat first, then the Help Center on its own.
1. Live Chat (Kodee)
I opened chat and asked a two-part technical question about how Drupal’s cron mechanism actually runs here, whether hPanel’s cron system triggers Drupal through Drush or over HTTP, and whether the PHP limits on that cron run match the limits applied to normal page loads on this plan.
Kodee did not answer from memory. It said it would check hostadvice.tech directly, confirmed Drupal was installed on the account, and pulled the site’s actual PHP configuration before responding.

I pushed further with a follow-up. Since this is a shared Premium plan rather than a VPS, I asked whether Drush ships with the account by default, or needs installing through Composer, and whether hPanel’s cron system can even run a script that depends on Composer packages.
That answer went deeper still. Kodee confirmed Drush is not preinstalled on a shared plan, then gave the exact Composer install command scoped to this account’s own file path, /home/u376535993/domains/hostadvice.tech/public_html, not a generic placeholder path.
It confirmed hPanel’s Custom cron type accepts a full shell command rather than a bare script name, so a Composer-installed Drush binary works fine, and it offered a PHP wrapper as a second option for anyone who would rather not shell out directly.
Three quick-action suggestions followed the answer, offering to walk through SSH access, building the custom cron job, or installing Drush through Composer, each one a real next step rather than a generic “let us know if you need anything else.”
What I thought about live chat. This is the strongest live chat exchange across everything I have tested at Hostinger.
Both answers were pulled from the live account rather than recited from documentation, the second answer used the account’s actual file path instead of a placeholder, and the correction about max_execution_time not being enforced under CLI is the kind of detail a support agent would only mention if it actually understood how PHP behaves outside a web request, not just how Hostinger’s panel works.
A reader running a real Drupal site, with real cron jobs to configure, gets an accurate, actionable answer here instead of a generic pointer to a help article.
2. Help Center
The Help Center opens on a search bar sitting above a grid of category tiles, each one labeled with an article count, so you can judge how deep a topic goes before clicking in.
