They billed me for services not requested, then take hours on the phone to cancel, only to find out the following month I am still being billed. Then they refuse to credit me because they can't find in their system that they cancelled the service. Total incompetence. Use any service other than them. I'm going back to Dotster.

I tried to switch from the 10 multi-user email pack to a "professional" email account. Not sure what the difference is, but it was cheaper and I only need one email account not 10 -- btw, the agent (a guy named Van) didn't explain how a multi-user versus professional account is different. Anyway, he apparently messed up the order and my email expired entirely! I had to go back to the multi-user pack in order to salvage the 20 years' of emails I've had with Register.com because everything would have been lost if I recreated my email with the new professional account, which means that I'm stuck again with its 20-year-old email platform (literally, the interface hasn't been upgraded since 2001). Now I have to back up all my emails, which I have no idea how to do. They'll do it for me if I want to pay them (which is ridiculous because they're the ones who screwed up -- I shouldn't have to pay for their screw up!). I'm better off getting all my emails backed up, then going with a different company. So frustrating!!! Avoid Register.com!!!

By far the worst company to deal with. Their hosting service and domain configuration system is TERRIBLE. You will have to wait for at least an hour - no matter when you call for technical support "We are experiencing longer than usual wait times and apologize for your inconvenience". Don't bother chatting either because your wait time is not what the bot is telling you. After being helped by technical support you will have to wait for 24 to 48 hours before knowing if the technical support actually resolved your problem. Don't buy SEO services from register.com because you'll become a ping-pong ball between a third-party SEO company and register.com and you will not see any results after waiting for the 60 days that they want you to wait. Remember you money is 100% non-refundable.

Original company was great! Web.com destroyed the devoted work of their founders. Avoid Network Solutions or any company controlled by or about to be gobbled up by WEB.COM. They are greedy scum who destroy the good companies they take over and have zero regard for their workers and customers. Buyer Beware!

They register domains in your name you didn't ask for and just say it's a "free offer". They've turned on services and won't refund me more than the last charge. Chat support doesn't work. WARNING- Stay away!

If I could rate 0 star, no doubt that's what they deserve. They have the worst service ever! I can even use the waiting time for them to reply to write them this review. They are very hard to reach, if you need a service provider that is accessible, STAY AWAY from register.com. Their customer support is also at its worst you can find in this decade. We tried reaching out for help with account logged in, it took forever for someone to reply. We had to log out and pretend we are a "potential" customer to get someone to reply to us.

We had them build our website. This is the 3rd time contacting them as we were told it was going live and 3 days later, it wasn't. Called and was told the person forgot to do something and that it was fixed. A week later I went to check our website it wasn't working, how long I don't know. Called them again, was told they fixed it and it did work. Just happened to pull up the website today and it's not working again!!!! Called Register.com was on hold forever before someone finally answered. He took all my information and said he was contacting support and put me on hold for another 15 minutes to then be transferred and told: We're sorry our department is now closed! What kind of company is this??? We spent $2600.00 having them build and to have access to support. This time is when we're busy and not having a website working is a big mistake! This is the message we are getting trying to look up our website!

I have been in contact with numerous members of the register.com support team over the last month. I have not had much luck getting any of my many issues resolved. I cannot and would not recommend their service to anybody.
